AMERICAN BOMBSHELL – Tattooed ‘N Bruised (Album Review)

With all the garbage on and in the news, not to mention all the drama on social media these days, we all need an escape. Whether it is going to work, socializing, working out even, or just listening to some good Rock and Roll, it’s a necessity in today’s world. At least it is for me!

Have no fears people! Today, I offer you that escape. That moment that will make all of today’s garbage disappear. I give you, American Bombshell’s sophomore album, Tattooed ‘N Bruised. It will make you forget every plaguing concern, worry, and issue. It will for at least an hour anyway. Comparable to Guns‘N’Roses, Bang Tango, The Bulletboys, and many more of those uncompromising, hard rock, in-your-face bands that we all escaped with getting away from our humdrum, everyday lives. Also, if you loved buying those albums with the parental warning stickers (thanks Tipper for pointing out the great albums!). You’re going to love this one!

The Review

American Bombshell - Tattooed 'n BruisedBased in Indianapolis, this 5-piece band has been touring, assaulting, and running roughshod over anyone in their path since 2014, and 2019 isn’t going to be any different. The first single, and rightfully so, “Money On The Liquor” (see video below) starts the album with a one, two punch on the senses. With Jay Cee on vocals, A double guitar attack from Steve Boyles, and Andrew “Nix” Nixon, Dustin Green on the bass, and Jason Carr pounding the skins you’re in for a beating like you haven’t heard in a long time. Teaming up with EMP Records they have been working hard at bringing you another beat down of sweat, booze, and broken glass in every town they visit.

With Tattooed ‘N Bruised, American Bombshell are setting themselves up to play in the big leagues. Some say rock and roll is dead, well these guys not only prove that is wrong. They shove it right down your throat screaming that it’s alive, and well, and coming to your town!

Rock On, and remember to #supportthemusic!
