Heavy metal with a diabolical atmosphere, without being excessively brutal. From this concept Witchfynde made a debut album, Give’em Hell (1980), that ranks among the spearheading classics of NWOBHM. However, like their peers in Demon, they changed styles on every platter, confusing record buyers. After four albums Witchfynde folded in 1986. To the delight of many, since the band had achieved tremendous cult status in the interim, they reunited in 1999.
