Forget about Wrestlemania, Summerslam or the Royal Rumble, it’s now time for the CGCM – Battle Of The Playlists! This episode is the first in a ten part series that spans the decade of decadence. Working through the 80’s sequentially each battle will pit The Meister Vs. Wallygator to see who will be crowned the CGCM Heavyweight Champion.
Round One spotlights the fine hard rock and heavy metal music from the year 1980. Each of the hosts will choose a 6 Pack of songs that were released that year and both of those playlists will be played on the show. It will be up to the listeners votes to determine who will win the battle.
This battle is actually round 1 of a 10 round Heavyweight Championship match pitting Wallygator Vs. The Meister as they work their way through the decade of decadence, the golden age of heavy metal and simply the coolest decade ever for hard rock and heavy metal.
Just like a blind taste test, the playlists are served up not knowing which of your hosts created which one? Please cast your votes on the CGCM Faacebook Page. Voting will remain open until we record “Round #2 – 1981” So buckle up, there may be blood, foreign objects possibly some crying involved.
