CGCM Rock Radio New Singles – April 21, 2021 (BEAVER BUZZ)
I Walk The Ponygirl- Mädhouse
Mädhouse continues pumping out tasty sleaze rock morsels. A Too Fast for Love t-shirt makes a few appearances, and that’s just about the exact vibe of these guys. One of the best attributes of Motley Crue‘s was that they terrified parents, but the boys in Mädhouse have taken parent terrifying to an even higher level.
“I Walk The Ponygirl” is off Bad Habits, available April 23, 2021.
BUY: Rock of Angels Records / Bandcamp

Keeping Watch- Haunt
Another classic metal song off the brilliant Beautiful Distraction, “Keeping Watch”, is filled with great hooks, subtle keys, and Haunt‘s signature riffage. Trevor William Church delivers a great solo to top it all off.
“Keeping Watch” is off Beautiful Distraction, available now.

Witching Hour – Lesbian Bed Death
The gothic hard rock band Lesbian Bed Death absolutely nail eerie, dark, and catchy. The video has the band playing the background music to some dark ritual. Hopefully, they’re summoning an entire album like this groove fest, because it is a treat.
“Witching Hour” is off The Witching Hour, which you can preorder now.

Ritual Warfare – Temtris
From the first scream, this song is an absolute monster. Vocalist Genevieve Rodda tears it up on the seven-minute stomper that never lets up.
“Ritual Warfare” is off the upcoming Ritual Warfare.

Herman Frank – Venom
Herman Frank‘s been rocking since the 80s and that experience shows here. “Venom” is straightforward rock with swagger and attitude.
“Venom” is off the Two For a Lie album, available May 21.
Deceiver, I Am – Silver Talon
Silver Talon grabs you by the shirt and tosses you into the mosh pit that is “Deceiver, I Am“. The triple-guitar attack is ferocious. It’s an absolute banger.
“Deceiver, I Am” is off Decadence and Decay, available in May.

In the Night We Burn – Bloody Hell
From the band themselves: “Known for their drunken wild shows, the band has always presented good times in the circle pit with anthems about drinking, hangovers, devil-worshipping among other important matters.”
“In the Night We Burn” is definitely anthemic, and also definitely not played by jokers. It has a nice Maiden feel to it, without sounding like a copy-cat.
“In the Night We Burn” is off The Bloodening, available April 30, 2021.
Memories Of Water – Shumaun
From time to time, a solid, melodic rock song comes along that really hits me. “Memories of Water” is one of those really well-composed songs that stick to me. The trio of Farhad Hossain on vocals, Jose Mora on bass, and Tyler Kim on guitar built a well-layered, memorable song.
“Memories of Water” is off Memories & Intuition, available summer of 2021.

Dracula – The Deep Six
“Dracula” from the Czech band The Deep Six is great on its own, and it’s really grown on me. But what is absolutely brilliant is the Tenacious D-like video. It features one of the baddest Draculas since Christopher Lee and a ridiculous Scooby-Doo chase scene.
“Dracula” is is off No Mercy, available now.
