The album Fire in the Brain (1983) and EP Turn the Cross Upside Down (1984) established Finns OZ as one of the most powerful heavy metal bands of the era. With subsequent releases the band got more melodic, and folded in 1991. Not until 2011 did OZ return with their sixth album Burning Leather, but then they did so as a full-fledged heavy metal band once more. As well as in 2017, when the current OZ – drummer Mark Ruffneck at the helm – released the Transistion State album. (From Here is OZSweden Rock 2019 courtesy of Shawn Irwin from Decibel Geek
