CGCM Rock Radio New Singles – April 28, 2021 (BEAVER BUZZ)
This week, Beaver Buzz is focusing on three standout new songs that you absolutely must hear by Danko Jones, StOp, sToP!, and Marta Gabriel. Consider these the Three Amigos of Beaver Buzz.

Flaunt It – Danko Jones
The bad news is that Danko Jones just cancelled their fall tour in a Facebook post on April 21; but the good news is they’ve dropped another single called “Flaunt It“. The song is a straight-up, raucous rock song worthy of an album called Power Trio. This is really a perfect, fun summer jam.

Raised on Rock & Roll – StOp, sToP!
The best thing about this song is that if you listened to the chorus only, you wouldn’t think the song would be titled “Raised on Rock & Roll“. Being raised on Rock & Roll isn’t about writing a song with that title, it’s actually demonstrating it with a song that proves you were in fact raised on the metal🤘. That’s precisely what StOp, sToP! followed up the best video of the year with. They are everything party rock and roll should be.

Marta Gabriel – Metal Queen
Marta Gabriel (Crystal Viper) kicks off her 80’s covers album Metal Queens by paying tribute to Lee Aaron with “Metal Queen”. She absolutely nails it with a slightly speedier approach. If we get more like this on Metal Queens I’ll be the first in line.
“Metal Queen” is off Metal Queens, out on July 16, 2021.

These six beauties are worthy additions to CGCM Rock Radio. Abby K is kicking off what should be an amazing career and Buckcherry keeps chugging them out. A couple of tracks from some great, but more obscure bands Sandstroem—a solo project from Patrik Sandström—and Desperation BLVD—the sleaze trio from Italy get a big assist from David Reece. Rounding out the bucket, EMN and ScreaMachine deliver two different, powerful takes on the kind of music played on CGCM Rock Radio.
